Tours and Activities

The city of Victoria and Vancouver Island offer a wide range of activities and attractions. The Tourism Victoria website includes a comprehensive list of resources.

Sea Kayak Excursion

Saturday, October 29, 2016
9:30 am - 3:30 pm
Cost: $85.00 USD (lunch included)
Participation limited to 15 guests; sign up for this activity during the registration process.

Join Curtis Mobley and Victoria Waterfront Tours for a sea kayak adventure along Victoria’s beautiful outer coast! This guided tour starts from Victoria’s inner harbor in the morning. We’ll head out of the harbor and turn west, looking for sea lions, seals, otters, and birds as we paddle past Seal Rock and the Brothers Islands. After an hour and a half of paddling, we’ll stop for lunch (included) and a self-guided walking tour at Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Site. We’ll then paddle back to our starting location. The round trip paddling distance is about 12 Km/7 miles, and 6 hours total time. The trip is suitable for beginners. Bad weather may cancel the trip for safety reasons, in which case a full refund will be made. Luggage can be stored with the guide service, if you wish to leave Victoria Saturday evening.

Due to the nature of this activity, participation is limited to 15 guests. Contact Jenny Ramarui ([email protected]) to be placed on a waiting list if the registration system indicates that the tour is sold out.
